Paris via Eurostar

Took us no effort to find our way to St Pancreas and hop on the Eurostar. Very comfortable and roomy, with a light meal served the time soon passed by. Once through the tunnel we were able to gain an appreciation of the French country side, and even saw cows - which we knew were French as they went "la mooo"
The trip was only 2 hours, on arrival we found our driver and made our way to the K+K Hotel Cayre.
The hotel is nice and within walking distance of most of the main tourist attractions - a great location .
After settling in we decided to walk to the Seine and have a stroll along the bank, so nice to see so many people enjoying themselves. We have a little view from our room overlooking Paris - towards Montmartre and the Paris Eye ( looks great at night).

One of the things we did see were recycled shipping containers - these were set up with gardens, and after asking,we were told that you can hire them to use eg for lunch or dinner . Also we stopped for coffee and were amazed to see people playing board games, there was even hopscotch painted on the concrete for kids to play. ( it was the worst coffee we have tasted)
After walking for a couple of hours we had something to eat ( a magnificent crouche) and a little drink
